At the base of one of the escalators in Festival City is a series of cymbals in a pool of water. Running up 3 stories are fine bead ropes, with water running down them. None of this makes any noise, but it’s really nice to watch, and almost relaxing - which is an odd experience for me in a shopping mall, in the Middle East, in the summer. It was 51.8 C last week - which is just over 125 F. And humidity is up between %60 and %80. No wonder they make the malls here nice - there’s nothing else to do in the summer!
